The argument
was that
too early did I
worry
that the sky was
falling
that with all, in all
falsehood
the sky would fall
that the humble and noble
is not present
that the trust
was not given
yet more is the reality
the more immediate
truth
that I have been
too boastful
a peacock up there
feathering, ignoring
not giving importance
to the presence
within my kind
And it is as I have shown
invading, imposing
directing, forcefully
forgetting, disregarding
I have been blinded
a myopia that hasn’t
seen the white light
the truth had been told
the unfolding of myself
my manifestation
mirrored to my very being
by another.

I have become
because of what has been
Afford me that argument
For i feel it is legitimate

I appeal
for
understanding

I am humbled and
thankful
that finally I have come to know

The coming of a new one

that I must proceed
from what I have learned
with what I have come to know
that I must remove
what I have been
what I have become
that I must transform these
into new qualities
for there is still chance to learn
from mistakes

But like everything
I must be reminded

the sun has descended

To think about it,
I am an IPO.
I was once offered by my parents
to the public, ceremonies
like baptism formally
announced my entrance
into the Catholic faith.
I have my own valuation
my own strengths and weaknesses
opportunities to my long-term goals
threats to my daily activities
my health, my person-hood.
I am invested in
millions toward education
vaccinations for normal functioning
medicines, knowledge assets
poured into my intellect
I have forecasts
my future brings expectations
future earnings, future partnerships
brings value to my stocks
And so shall I have daily
plus and minuses
ups and downs
greens and reds.
Performance ratings
to gauge and test
I will also give back
an IPO for
EPS

He is one who deserves
no argument
But one who deserves
my pity, my wishes
of good luck.

Why are you here in the first place?
Is it for a good resume
for good credentials
Maybe so
While each of us has reasons
subject to our pasts and dreams
I myself am reminded
of a great opportunity
a great luxury
at present

While we all have these
heartaches …

A pillow to hug
in the absence of a lover

The heavens continue to weep
We do not fail to notice; we listen

The feeling is addictive.
Pair the coldness

As it rains every year
the best of settings
from the sentimental countdown
are chosen
and are remembered.

Then with rain
comes good sleep.
Memories are loaded
and revisited.
The soul rests and
the mind wanders.

Memories come alive
in dreams.

But not one which I dearly want
A link which I have not been able to unite
For I was too young
Too old now to remember

I had not come to realize
There is one thing most
I would like to remember
But it isn’t in my memory.

A journey of never-ending

Spread across
the wings of an Eagle
Soar! And fly
to greater distances.

Far into the horizon
only a dot; indistinct
Go! Godspeed! on your
journey towards infinity.

Follow through.

Towards it
you make your way
shoving branches aside
through pestilent vines
past snakes, webs and lairs.

Logic now is not needed.
Follow through
with heart.

The drumbeats are
louder now
Your hearbeat in synch.
Racing, resounding.

In the clearing
you enter.

Lo behold the stars have aligned!

A beauty in scathed clothing
Wind and water
in a smoky incantation.
The portal of civilization.

Now it is the end.
A letter sealed in blood compact with contents of enlightenment, signals a pact of condonation.
What has been kept from the world in the innermost depths has emerged, bringing insight and knowledge. It is a thorny nugget burning away under the golden sun. In my realization by what has been sent by this rapid emissary, has brought liberalization to my mind. Soon after by my council brothers, who shall be able to decrypt my message, shall gleam away from ignorance. For in my end the war has officially ended, and that is good.

Comprehension.
One cannot be blamed for wanting to conquer new heights; new lands; to walk on foreign lands and mingle with the locals. Especially, when this one is faced with mounting pressures from his brothers and sisters in his territory. Not to mention, it has become an inherent condition.
One must also understand the complexity of a soldier – his personal ambitions, his long term goals, his family, his wife, his mind, his heart.
The politics of the capital, the senate and the councils may have seen blindheartedly for once. Blame cannot be burdened solely by the soldier.
Here is a council whose members are fully qualified, content, with a goal of greatness, a goal of unity, of values, of rules, of ambitions and civility.
Here is the soldier who shares the same goals of greatness, of unity, of rules and ambitions, but in his heart, in this season it is of conquest, of glory, of yearning for something more and different.
The soldier had voluntarily entered the august council, a newcomer, eager to learn to socialize, to experience a life of robes and earnestness.
But his territory and his innate nature makes him ask for more.
There is clearly a disparity.

Realizations.
Yet the soldier made a least-graceful exit from the august chamber.
Much speculation spread like wildfire. Judgments from here and there condemn his existence.
Soon after, the soldier was spotted in the edge of the council’s hold, with the other tribesmen.
Eager to conquer, together they ventured away from the capital.

Stripped of his weapons and armor, the soldier is still human.
A mortal. Only a measly creature to the might of the Gods.
He is no perfect individual, nor one to be praised.
For he is only human, and with human beings
there is so much to be improved on,
there is so much to experience,
much to be learned of his existence.

A New Beginning.
Here is a soldier who ventures off to conquer.
Yet he returns to family, to his tribesmen to his territory.
Let this be a new beginning for the wanderer and for the council.
A new era of openness and enlightenment.
